To construct a team of teachers with high quality can ensure the broadening of general education. The reflection of teachers' own teaching activity is an important approach of improving their quality. Improving the teaching reflective ability is one effective way of teacher's specialization development.Taking Urumqi's Uighur middle school teachers as subjects, the research adopts the methods which combine the qualitative study and the quantitative study to observe the characteristics and the influence factors of Uighur Middle School teachers' teaching reflective ability in Urumqi. It can be divided into two parts:The first study adopts the quantity-oriented method. Through using questionnaire, it discusses the present situation of teacher's reflective ability and whether the different background factors influence the teacher's teaching reflective ability.The second study adopts the quality-oriented method. It analyzes the reflective consciousness , the content, the method and the existing problem of the Uighur middle school teachers at present and the influence factors which is on the basis of observation and investigation.The result shows that (1) The characteristic of teacher's teaching reflective practice shows that the teacher's reflective level is not high. The visual angle of teacher's reflection is narrow. The awareness of teacher's reflection is not enough. The reflective content is single. (2) The teacher's different background variances have different influences on the teacher's teaching reflective ability. (3) School environment and teachers' personality also make important influences on their teaching reflective ability.According to the results and the discoveries, countermeasures or suggestions must be put forward as the following: (1) Build school environment which is propitious to teacher's reflection. (2) Strengthen teacher's self-building.
