The way of Chinese women's liberation has reflected the commonness that Chinese women are on the way to enlightenment, as well as the peculiarity called "Chinese Mode" that the CCP and the Chinese government has been carrying the ideal named "the equality of men and women" in all fields by laws, politics, administration and so on. State intervention is one of advantages which is regarded as a great superiority in the field of political system compared feminism movements in the West Countries, and is the fundamental reason for the trans-normal development. However, "Chinese Mode" has faced a series of challenges since the day after reform and opening to the outside world, the meanings, achievements, and shortcomings of which are being discussed. This paper appraises impersonally the "Chinese Mode" of women's liberation, summarizes experience and lessons of this mode, and unfolds its internal logic as well as the role of development. Than basing on changes of lives and circumstances, looks into rationally the role of the state or the government in the practice of Chinese women's liberation in a new way, so that looks for a way of women's liberation with Chinese characteristics in an open society with market economy. In the author's opinion, as other countries are making efforts to building or improving the mechanism of state intervention to raise women's status, Chinese government should transform its functions giving prominence to the function of public service in the field of intervention when carrying out one of the national policies called "nan nv ping deng", improve the degree of gender-sensitive of policies the operability of which should also be considered greatly, and make full use of all kinds of methods to combine state intervention and improving women's self-identity preventing from the absence or monopoly of power, in order to achieve the goal that women reach political liberation as well as self-liberation.
