Through the endless course of development, the gender division of labor in society has been changed marvelously on the improvement of society. But under the influence of patriarchy that is thousands of years long and on the eternal admonishes that is evolved by the physiological difference which has the traditional gender system, more social burden rests on the shoulder of the men. Men not only benefit from the traditional gender culture, but also suffer from it. Men's liberation is put forward to alleviate their social oppression. Moreover, women are required to shoulder the social responsibilities together with men positively. Men's liberation is not only one of the most important parts that constitute the spiritual civilization of human beings, but also an indispensable part of human culture on the whole. From the elementary gender equality of primitive socitey to the male-focused state attached with female in an agricultural socitey, to the pursuit and practice on the equal and coordinated growth between both genders of male and female in modern society, it reflected the unceasing replacement and leap of the culture and ideology of human beings. This thesis treats gender and the development of gender relationship from the male point of view at the level of humanity, and takes the view that the ideal state of both gneders is one in that both men and women can accomplish a free, all-round and harmonious development on a higher platform. Only when both genders are able to fully bring out their potentialities, can they spur themselves to play an important and irreplaceable role of each other in the development process of human beings and socitey.
