Analysis On Our Country's Football Research Papers From 1992 To 2006 By Using The Method Of Philology Metrology

The thesis has analyzed the research papers about football sport since the revolutionary of the football professionalizing of China by using the method of philological metrology. It has also studied systematically and synthetically about the problems existing during the time. It will help us understand and master the present situation of football scientific studies in China. It will promote football sport research level of China. Further more, it will provide some valuable reference to solve the problems existing in the process of revolutionary.By using the research methods of philological metrology, interviewing experts, symbolic statistic, logic reasoning and content analysis, this research analyzed 1544 articles from 17 sports journals during the time from 1992 to 2006.Studies showed as following: first, the annual amount of scientific theses on football sport has increased steadily, which is influenced by the changes of national football sport and football competitions holding worldwide. The scope of study objects is wide and complete, however, it lacks of clear purposes and the study on basic and peripheral factors that affects the development of football games is not enough. The contents of the study mainly focused on some social factors, such as analyzing matches, training and some negative effects on the development of football.Second, provincial fund support is the main source of scientific research on sports. Some core sports journals, like "Sports Science" and "Journal of Shanghai Sports College", attract most of the national fund projects.Third, the research methods of philological metrology, symbolic statistic, observation, survey, logic reasoning and interviewing experts, are the mail ones. The proportion by adopting one or two means in the thesis is slightly high.Fourth, research people on football sport are mainly from more modernized south of China and some northern coastal areas, among them the teachers from some national multiuniversities and sports colleges has formed the main group. Young and medium-aged teachers and research workers are the hard core.Fifth, writing individually, cooperatively in a small range and cooperatively in the same working place is the basic format of football sport research. The group of football research writers is in the process of organizing, and the output of their research is waiting to be increased.
