| Human are creators of culture. Humanity built up a unique world different from other species through creating it's own culture. While transmission is the mechanism on which human relations'existence and development depends, which helps human's culture heritage and development. Cultural transmission is one of common phenomenon, which caters to the requirements for human's existence and development, which keeps culture created by human passed, continued and which overcomes the limitation of time, bridges the gap of races and passes through the whole human society development. All forms of culture are made and developed in the process of transmission. A culture of human forms cultural stream and cultural value increment in the process of transmission by the expansion and migration, which becomes one of vital ways to cultural development and innovation. Human are charger of culture transmission, at the same time, the bearer of culture. Migration is an accompanied phenomenon with the development of human society. Therefore, it plays an important role and a key medium in human cultural transmission, especially in recent past years when there was a difficult transportation and information blocking."Rushing to Northeast", a unprecedented hero segment in history of modern Chinese immigrants, effectively promoted the Northeast's economic, social and cultural changes. Shandong Province is one of sources for Chinese martial arts breeding many types of boxing, which set up it's important place in Chinese martial arts. However, 2000thousand more Shandong immigration to Northeast China brought what kinds of effect on the transmission of Shandong martial arts remains blank. This is what's new in this paper.The approaches of documentary, factor analysis and interview to experts are employed in this paper. Through the analysis to large numbers of documents, this paper testifies the history evidence of'Rush to Northeast'—the issue of martial arts' transmission made by Shandong immigrants in near history. Through analysis on the factors of martial arts' transmission from Shandong to northeast area, this paper tries to search out the route martial arts traveling from Shandong to Northeast China, therefore, interpret the impact the Shandong immigrants made on transmission, development and creation of martial arts in Northeast China. By this chance, this paper clarifies historical resources of martial arts in Northeast China. Immigrants, as carrier of human's culture transmission, have an important place in history of human culture transmission. Clarifying the history facts Shandong immigrants' contribution to martial arts transmission can help us to realize the importance of advancement Shandong immigrants brought to Shandong martial arts and what's more, provide persuasive examples to culture transmission theory. In addition, culture of martial arts, extensive and profound, includes the essence of Chinese traditional culture, so it's hard for some modern medium of transmission to make the receivers understand its true meaning. Therefore, through this study, we can find a practical way for martial arts to transmit in modern society, then promote martial arts' prosperity and development and provide consultation to martial arts marching to the world. This paper can be divided into three parts as follow:The first part is an introduction. In this part, the reason of the topic choices and the value of the study are introduced. Some key words like: rush to northeast, immigrants and recent years are defined. Research methods and theoretical basis (basic theory for culture transmission) in this study are introduced, and relations between culture and transmission, types of culture and impact on cultural development and innovation made by culture transmission. What's more, this part discusses'cultural circle'school's theory concerning about human culture transmission depending on human's migration. And then, present situation of migration issue—rush to northeast, martial arts transmission and relations between migration and transmission are analyzed and categorized. On the basis of the introduction, this part introduces both historical and practical meaning of the study and clarifies what's new in this study.The second part is discussion and analysis. Four aspects are included. First, the development of Shandong martial arts is introduced including distribution of varieties of boxing in Shandong and the general situation of martial arts in Shandong. Second, the approaches Shandong immigrants taking martial arts to Northeast China are introduced: through martial club, martial artists, Shuaifu guards, body guards company and Yihetuan campaign. So we can draw a conclusion that Shandongnese migration is one of keys for martial transmission. Third, reasons of this transmission happened are put forward like: 1. the severe living condition in Shandong at that time forced Shandongnese immigrant to the Northeast, then the transmission happened; 2. Good living conditions in the Northeast attract martial artists from Shandong. Forth, positive effects of this transmission are discussed in this part: 1. Push the development of martial arts in northeast China forward. Take one of traditional boxing in Shandong—Tanglangquan as an example, through the evidence tracing of the fact that a group of Tanglangquan master took this type of boxing to some cities in the northeast and others run Tanglangquan club, this paper discusses the positive effects made by these immigrants; 2. Push martial arts forward. Governmental interference and individual's transmission made martial arts grow in the northeast; 3. Accelerate the innovation of martial arts. Through the origin searching to'Dongbeimizongquan'and'Shenyang zhaquan', this paper discusses the great impact Shandong immigrants taking to the Northeast.The third part is conclusion. Though long lasting activities of rush to northeast, Shandongnese took not only Qilu culture but Shandong traditional martial arts to the northeast. Migration is one of important approach for martial arts transmission from Shandong to the northeast. Through martial club, martial artists, Shuaifu guards, body guards company and Yihetuan campaign, Shandong martial arts were transmitted to the northeast. Under the duly condition of bad livingn condition in Shandong and Good living condition in the northeast, Shandongnese'Rush to northeast'became the main factor of the transmission of Shandong martial arts to the northeast. Shandongnese'Rush to northeast'push the martial arts expansion in the northeast, therefore, push the development of martial arts forward and speed up martial arts innovation. Through the transmission by the immigrants, martial arts welcomed blooming chance, this form of Chinese traditional culture can be developed and innovated in the process of heritage.
