Value is the core of characters and attitude systems. It plays important roles in one's life, especially to adolescences that are in the transition period of life, having a right value will affect their healthy growth and the formation of their character. The pop song is the most important part in adolescences' "second culture", it has the enormous influence to the adolescences' values and behavior patterns. It reflects the trend of adolescences' a period of values, on the other hand, it also affects and molds the adolescences' value. As a result, it has the very important significance that studying the mutual relation between pop songs and adolescences values in many angles of view.From the subjective angle of view-adolescences and the objective angle of view-pop music, the research study the mutual relation between pop songs and adolescences values by interview, content analysis method and questionnaire in psychology, which are the adolescences values reflected by pop songs and the adolescences' cognition to pop songs. We use the self-plait questionnaire, "The degree of adolescences contacted with pop songs questionnaire", to survey 165 adolescences, and acquire the typical students' information that liked pop music very much and the typical pop music information. Through analyzing the results of questionnaire with the content analysis method, we can obtain the second self-plait questionnaire, "The questionnaire of adolescences values reflected by pop songs"; Then, we use this questionnaire to survey 953 adolescences and acquire the main results of adolescences values reflected by pop songs, besides, we can know the construction of the adolescences values with the Confirmatory factor analysis method; At last, we interview 7 typical adolescences for obtaining the adolescences' cognition character to pop songs, and further analyse the influence of pop songs to adolescences values and the adolescences' suggestion to current pop songs.The findings of the research shows:1,The rate that adolescences contacted with pop songs is almost 100%, especially the junior students. The net is the main way that adolescences obtained pop songs information.2,The adolescences' favorite pop music types are love songs, rock songs and abroad songs. There are differences of the songs types that different adolescences liked.3,The 6 dimensions of the adolescence values construction reflected by pop songs are survive, love, morality, personality character, self-realization, ideality, and this construction reflects the structure of need level.4,The adolescences values condition reflected by pop songs shows that: The personality character is the first value orientation, then are self-realization, survive, morality, love, and there are differences of the different characteristic adolescences values reflected by pop songs.5,There are differences of adolescences values by different kinds of pop songs, and the scores of patriotic songs are highest.6,There are differences of adolescences values by different types of singers, and the scores of singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan are highest.7,There are differences of adolescences values by different pop songs factors, and the scores of lyric are highest.8,The reasons that adolescences like and chase pop songs and singers are 3 points: the adolescences autogenously physiological and psychological characters, the pop songs characters and the inducement and catalysis roles of the mass medium. 9,The pop songs have the active and negative influence on the adolescences autogenously development and constitute of values.10,The active influences are: The pop songs have the function of entertain, catharsis and education.11,The negative influences are: Some pop songs can affect the adolescences studying, destroy their aesthetic appreciate, and they maybe erode adolescences values.
