| The development of science and technology turns the industrialized world into the society of informatization.Network technology is becoming one of the most significant aspects of social informatization.The Internet,since its being introduced into China,has greatly changed the study habits,life style and manners of communication of Chinese people and has been associated closely with their daily life. Campus BBS has become one of the favorite Web service in colleges and is defined as "Cyber space" for living and study.Teachers and students frequently use it to post and obtain variety of information entertain and relax themselves.Meanwhile,its significant values in Ideology and Politics Education(IPE) appeal to scholars.They focus on researches on issues of how web service can be applied to IPE.Based on literatures concerned and practical experiences in this field,this article comes up with the sketch of how to apply BBS to IPE and establish the BBS education platform.This research includes the following parts:Part one tells about the meaning and significance of Network Ideology and Politics Education(NIPE).This part mainly discusses the influences of Net Era on college ideology and politics education and the necessity to stress such education.With variety of literatures and explanation to how web service has been developing in China, the author shows that it is necessary to adapt education means to challenges of the Technical Revolution for the purpose of freeing minds and keeping pace with the times.Part Two is mainly about what BBS is and its traits.BBS is the Electronic Information Service System used on Internet,which provides a public electronic whiteboard for users to write,post information or bring forth their ideas on.Since 1996, BBS has been widely used by web users for its counting openness,communicativeness, entertainment and learning latency as one.Campus BBS becomes one of the hottest web services for college teachers and students.This part summarizes typical traits of BBS applied to ideology and politics education:immediate information transmission, two-way communication and quality of interactivity,and hiding characteristic.BBS reveals its coverage,accuracy,preciseness and immediacy in information collection and its controllability as well.The fact that these traits help to conduct ideology and politics education is demonstrated in all aspects in this part.Part three puts forward problems with application of BBS.This part,based on literatures concerned and by using questionnaires and practical experiences and examples,summarizes major problems with BBS's application,which include the following aspects such as negligence in developing BBS,weak management,moral issues,dullness in board setting and out-dated contents etc.These problems cause serious consequences that some outlaws take advantage of or falsify BBS and some college students disregard moral limitations and do great harm to others.Part four brings forth application strategies.This part,takes problems with the application of BBS into consideration and comes to the conclusion that colleges must attach more importance to strategies of constructing professional staff for BBS ideology and politics education so as to promote it into the significant position of fostering high-quality successors to the cause of socialism.Furthermore,the colleges should adopt such practical strategies as to grasp education direction for BBS services, build up BBS management system,diversify education boards,making changes both in education concepts and roles for the purpose of improving effects of ideology and politics education.This part also reflects on the current situation that considerable net users are opposed against the application of "Real Name System".It puts forward the system applied to Campus BBS,that is,the system of"logging in with real names and posting with nicknames",or means of fixing users' identity by IP addresses in order to guarantee BBS's controllability and the effective process of BBS ideology and politics education platform.
