Training students'ability of practical problem solving is one of the goals of quality education, but there are still some problems in actual physical teaching. Students'ability of original problem solving is poor; it implies that the students don't grasp the modeling methods in physics. The author puts forward the theme--"physics model teaching based on original problem-solving in middle school"based on investigation and research. The article is composed of five chapters.Chapter-1: The source of the problem. The research theme comes from the situation of student'original problem-solving and some teacher'understanding of the physical model, and it also combines the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the training of creative talents in Quality education.Chapter-2: Research review. After having carried out a detailed study of literature on original physical problem and physics model teaching around the theme, it clarifies their concepts, classifications and mutual relations and discussed the significance of them in Physics Teaching, then, it put forward the theme--"physics model teaching based on original problem-solving in middle school"Chapter-3: Investigation and Analysis of physics model teaching in middle school. The author carries out an investigation to know the situation of students'ability of physical modeling and to find the main factors affected student grasping physics model by analysis and students'paper and oral report.Chapter-4: Theory of physics model teaching based on original problem-solving in middle school. It describes the theoretical foundation from the perspective of education and learning theory, and it also analyzes the iterative character, process and methods of physic modeling.Chapter-5: Teaching strategies and examples of physics model teaching based on original problem-solving in middle school. It provides teaching strategies and the corresponding example, then, it puts forward the teaching model according to the theory and carries out the corresponding empirical study.The last one is conclusions of the research, it reviews and summarizes the conclusions and findings of the research, and points out what should be perfect for the further study.
