Mathematics task-based learning is a new added content with rich features in curriculum reform,which reflects the requirements of mathematics curriculum and educational reform and also provides a chance for students to carry out practical,explore and inquiry study, Mathematics task-based learning is also a new learning mode and learning method. Mathematics task-based learning incarnates the research about learning thought and method in mathematics course and changes the teaching process into a kind of that of scientific research or micro- scientific research, During this process, students can gain math knowledge and take part in the process of experiencing research study,therefore students' abilities of putting study task forward and solving problems independently are enhanced. This thesis analyzes mathematics task-based learning from theoretical and practical viewpoints respectively .It provides consults on the teaching mathematics task-based learning for reference.This thesis consists of seven parts.The first chapter elaborates the rationales for selecting the present study, the significances and purposes of the present study as well as the research thought and methods used for the present study etc. This chapter also summarizes the researches of other scholars.The second chapter elaborates concept of task-based learning and mathematics task-based learning, characteristics and learning way of mathematics task-based learning.The third chapter mainly elaborates the basis of the theory about mathematics task-based learning.The fourth chapter makes investigates about the situations of the mathematics task-based learning and analyzes itThe fifth chapter mainly researches the produce to carry out the mathematics task-based learning and discusses the launch tactic and problems of the mathematics task-based learning. This chapter also researches cases study of practice teaching about the mathematics task-based learning.The sixth chapter makes a thought about mathematics task-based learning in middle school.The seventh chapter makes a conclusion. And the author takes a glance into the future about this research.
