With the rapid change and development of the computer network technology, the network has been influencing social process and the mankind's future deeply at a surprising speed, changing people's life, study, work and the mode of thinking. It's also been influencing every aspect of the society. The network has not merely developed into a new-type industry as a new-developing media following broadcasting, newspaper and television. It has become a new field of thoughts and cultural exchanges. And it has also become the new domains and positions for the ideological and political education.On the one hand, the development of the network technology brings benefits to the mankind. One the other hand, because of the position of mankind, the network world is not only a place for "pure technology", but it is flooded with many moral problems ever since the beginning of its birth. The open characteristics of the network makes ideology, politics and culture permeate and mingle with each other and its fictitious characteristics makes it difficult to tell whether various kinds of information is true or false. Under this situation, there have been series of changes in the mode of life and association, the contents of life, the ideology and mentality of value among the undergraduates whose outlook of world, life and value are still in the stage of taking shapes. A lot of wrong things have been made in the network ethics by the undergraduates, so that a lot of problems have been raised in the aspects of ethics. All these ethical problems in the network arouse new challenges to the ethical education in the universities. The ethical educational shape is expanding from tangibly to invisibly, and its range is developing from limitedly into limitlessly. Therefore the degree of difficulty of the work is greater and the situation faced is more complicated, too. And it is particularly important to strengthen quest and research on the educational mode in the university network ethical education and to raise the theoretical level of it. If we make a comprehensive survey on the research of the network ethical education at home and abroad, we'll find quite a lot of them are confined to the analysis of the negative phenomenon of the network ethics and corresponding specific tactics, and at the same time they haven't given systematical mode to the network ethical education yet.Under the guidance of Marxism, this dissertation attempts to illustrate the emphasis and basic methods of the ethical education in universities and the approaches of raising the correlative level by explaining the situation and reason of the network ethic of the undergraduates, based on the current technology of the network. To deal with the network ethical education of the undergraduates, the teachers in the universities must adapt themselves to the new requests of the network era. They should study from multi aspects, change and renew educational ideas, curriculum system, teaching methods and technique. This dissertation consists of four chapters.Chapter1: The network society and the network ethics. This chapter starts with the forming of the network society and analyzes its characteristics, expounds the definition of the network ethics, its basic characteristics and the source of the network ethical problems.Chapter2: The situation and reasons of the network ethics of the undergraduates. This chapter analyzes the situation of the network ethics of the undergraduates in greater details and subtly delineates the reasons in four aspects.Chapter3: The emphasis and basic methods of the university network ethical education. This chapter puts forward the idea of raising the self-discipline consciousness and the sense of responsibilities of the undergraduates as the basic points of the network ethical education and gives basic ways of strengthen the network ethical education from six aspects.Chapter4: The methods of improving the level of the network ethical education. This chapter analyzes the methods of improving the level of the network ethical education from building theoretical education and theoretical research system and strengthening the improvement of the techniques and the network supervision.
