In course of the historyteaching, people pay more attention to the history textbooks than the history education itself, and it it's unusual to argue about the textbooks.Several different editions of senior high school history textbooks edited according to the same curriculum criteria, which became the focus of the history curriculum reform argument again because of their unprecedented content arrangements and their rich, lively supplement systems, came out in 2004In this thesis, studies are based on four editions of them, via comparing and analyzing them,I mange to find out whether the choice of contents is proper or not, whether the arrangement of contents is appropriate or not,and whether the supplement systems are perfect or not,so that it can help teachers use the textbooks properly and give some help to editors when they want to alter the textbooks. This thesis includes three parts—the introduction, the body, the conclusion.PartⅠis the introduction, including the aims and the significance of the study, the international trends and thoughts of the study.PartⅡis the body, including fort chapters.ChapterⅠmainly discusses the history textbooks structure systems and their function.ChapterⅡmainly discusses their content arrangement systems and content choice systems. ChapterⅢmainly discusses their supplement systems.Based on the former three chapters' studies, chapterⅣoffers some advice on improving the textbooks.PartⅢis the conclusion. It suggests that the construction of the history textbooks be a developing and dynamic process, which couldn't be perfect. So all of us are making contributions to the construction.
