The long standing critical spirit and unremitting pursuit of universal value such as democracy and human rights in the western culture have evolved into a kind of inclusive culture characterized by social inclusiveness.Under the influence of inclusive culture,the right to receive education as an important part of human rights has been concemed day by day.At the end of the 20th century,as a result of the trend mentioned above,the inclusive education that is characterized by laying stress on participation and refusing discrimination and exclusiveness has become a kind of popular educational thoughts internationally.Embedded in human rights and sticking to the value of segregation equals to inequality,it believes that every child is special and everyone needs special education.Due to the claim inclusive education has laid to that all children should receive high quality education which is suitable for their unique learning needs in a non-segregated educational environment,the curriculum aims,and content,implementation and evaluation currently in the general school should be adjusted and reformed.The inquiry into the inclusive cultural curriculum thus happens against this very background.This study explores and inquiries into the connotation and character of the inclusive cultural curriculum,arguments for constructing it on the basis of tracing back to the inclusive culture,the origin from which inclusive cultural curriculum developed.At last an attempt is made to construct the inclusive cultural curricular theory system.The dissertation consists of four parts:Part One is the introduction.It mainly expounds the origin,significance,object and content of this study,analyzing and summarizing the status of present research.The thinking and method of this study are also explained in it.The second part traces back to the historical development of inclusive culture in which the inclusive cultural curriculum produced itself.And the characters of the inclusive culture are also summarized.The connotation and characters of the inclusive cultural curriculum are then described on the basis of analyzing the relations between it and the inclusive culture.Part Three analyses the support and arguments for constructing the inclusive cultural curriculum.It mainly makes use of the wisdom of the inclusive philosophy, surveying the psychological foundation of traditional curricular theories and the appeal of tending toward an inclusive society.The fourth part is ways of constructing the inclusive cultural curriculum.Several major problems of constructing the inclusive cultural curriculum are explored.They are the aims of the inclusive cultural curriculum,principles of choosing and organizing the curricular contents,the basic characters of the curricular content,and the value orientation of the curriculum implementation,factors of affecting the curriculum implementation,the curricular implementation procedure and curricular evaluation.
