Classes are the fundamental organization of schooling,the elementary unit of school education and management;meanwhile,they are also the minimized environment of communication and personality improvement for students.Considering the isolated existing education mechanism doesn't match the real social life,the students can not get complete knowledge.Therefore,during the daily class management,we should create a novel educational environment which can guides the students to be involved actively,inspires their activity to learn, trams their attitudes and capability of knowledge,and makes every students get improved in the classes.Presently,the theme-based learning is considered as an appropriate approach that fits the requirements of the age.With the support of Interact and the guide of learning theory,the virtual learning community is an important achievement of educational information.It has obtained the interest of the public during the recent years.The Web2.0 technology,the achievement of the latest revolution of the Interact,has emphasized on freedom,equability,opening mechanism and aggregating the power of the public,and holds the same idea as the virtual learning community.The combiriation of computer network and teaching theories provide a novel prospect for education,as well as the opportunities of daily learning and class management skills.Based on relevant analysis,this work has proven the capability of benefiting from the virtual learning community and theme-based learning,and ability of constructing a theme-based learning community using Web2.0 technologies.Moreover,doable methodologies and strategies are also provided for class learning and management.This work is comprised of four phases:the literature consulting,the theoretical research,the empirical study and evaluation analysis.Based on literature consulting from both domestic and international communities,the author adopts the methods of integrating learning theories with empirical study,expounds the conception of theme-based learning and virtual learning community, investigates and analyzes the current policies and strategies for daily learning and management oriented from primary schools.This work proposes a theoretical model for theme-based learning under the environment of Web2.0,provides a prototype of early stage analysis,and evaluates them on the teaching practice of Class 5 of Affiliated Primary School of Southwest University.At the same time,the author also investigates and validates the effectiveness of feedback data.The work indicates the effectiveness and efficiency of the theme-based research.It also indicates that taking advantage of the theme-based learning can help students to develop self-study capability,provides a new approach for the corporation between families and schools,facilitate the construction of classes' culture,and improve the sense of belonging of the class members,and the cohesion of the classes.
