High school physics is an integrated system mainly consisting of few basic concepts and rules.So-called physical knowledge application mainly refers to explaining physical phenomena and solving physics questions using physical concepts,specially physical rules. Therefore, we should pay special attention to the teaching of physical concepts and rules.Field is one of the core concepts of electromagnetics. Meanwhile, magnetic field related concepts and rules are important knowledge in electromagnetics as well as the difficult teaching and learning points in high school physics. Therefore, it becomes very important to study some effective teaching and learing strategies so as to improve the teaching of magnetic field related knowledge.By consulting some references, the essay deals with some theories related to concept teaching and rule teaching of physics and especailly conducts a deep research into the teaching of magnetic field related knowledge in high school physics (High School Curriculum Criterion Experiment Textbook Elective 3-1). The research into magnetic field related knowledge includes the comparison of teaching aims about it in The Teaching Guidance, Curriculum Criterion as well as old and new textbooks; the importance and necessity of it in high school physics system; the important, difficult, doubtful and fallible points of it as well as the role it plays in the college entrance examinations. By combining the above analysis with curriculum criterion, teaching guidance, entrance examination outline and personal teaching experience, the author proposes some strategies in concept teaching and rule teaching of magnetic field related knowledge and puts them into practice at the same time.As the study indicates, carrying out the teaching and learning strategies proposed in this essay in the magnetic field related knowledge teaching process can enrich and perfect traditional classroom teaching patterns, reinforce the classroom teaching effects and enable students to master magnetic field related knowledge better and eventually obtain positive and initiative development.Finally, the author summarizes the full essay based on the former study and analyses the questions which require further discussion and research.
