With the Curriculum Reform of Basic Education entering into the third stage, it was worthwhile to investigate the real implementation in primary school. Hence, the paper, which exploited questionnaire, interview and investigation, studied the real implementation of elementary schools in Nantong district. With questionnaire, teachers' receptivity of the reform was studied. Furthermore, the factors which affected the Curriculum Reform of Basic Education performing were found through interview. In addition, the status of the reform was studied through educational observation.In conclusion, the receptivity was quite high. In practice, Governor department, leader of school and teaching and research division affected the reform significantly. Meanwhile, the implementation was very good in classes. Additionally, three suggestions as below were proposed.Strengthening the study on fundamental theory of practical works;Strengthening teachers'training;Consummating the contents of the new curriculum based on three sub-researches.
