The thesis is about the research on teachers' receptivity of new curriculum in northwest rural primary school in China. The aim is to know those teachers' true attitude to the new basic education curriculum reform and their action intention. Then, the study makes some suggestion on how to enhance the teachers' curriculum receptivity in northwest rural primary school in China.The main findings are as fellows:I .The teachers in west rural primary school have high curriculum receptivity. The teacher who has higher professional title possesses clearer action intention.II .The practicality of the new curriculum itself is the crucial factor, which has an influence on the teachers' curriculum receptivity in west rural primary school. There are many teachers who support the new curriculum reform, but they don't have optimistic attitudes on it. So the research about the curriculum evaluation and requirement is very necessary. The development of the proper curriculum for west rural primary school should be a top priority.HI.The relationship between teacher and his students, students' patriarchies, colleagues, principals is very important to teachers' teaching attitudes and curriculum receptivity. But the evaluation system restricts the teachers' action intention. Without the evaluation system, those teachers pay more attention to the teaching effective.IV .During the new curricula implementation, the teachers in northwest rural primary school are enthusiasm, they are doing their best to participate in the new curricula reform, but their higher initiative need the cooperation from society and families. Their leaders' affirmation and support, colleagues' help and coordination, student patriarchies' know and receptivity about the reform is more significant in northwest rural region.
