Children's creative acts are usually behaved as creative imagery. Creative imagery is a psychological processes in which people create new images independently according to certain purpose and task rather than the ready-made description. Studies on children's creative imagery started a very long time ago. Researchers have discussed the characteristics of children's creative imagery in kinds of methods. Finke studied the creative imagery of adults, and put forward the conception of creative cognition. His geneplore model of creative imagery helps us to know the inner processes of creative imagery better. However, the studies on children's creative imagery, especially on the education of creative imagery,are still deficient. For the above-mentioned reasons, this research studied how the methods of learning affect on the creative imagery of the pupils in grade three, according to the characters of Chinese pupils, we modified the methods of Finke's creative imagery and used them.Results showed that:1. Learning can promote the development of the students'creative imagery. There is a significant difference between the students who learned and those who didn't learn. And different methods of learning do different effects on the creative imagery of pupils. The pupils who accepted the implicit learning get the best achievement, which formed a significant difference from the pupils who accepted the explicit learning.2. There is no significant sexual difference between the boys and girls in 3-Grade pupils,however,different methods of learning do different effects on boys and girls. For the explicit learning, there is no significant difference between boys and girls. While the opposite is true for the group of the implicit learning. The boys outperformed girls.3. There is difference on the methods of learning between boys and girls. The implicit learning promote the creative imagery of boys, while the explicit learning do little. On the contrary, the explicit learning promote the creative imagery of girls, while the implicit learning do little.
