Research On China Rope-Skipping Competition Events And Methods

Rope-skipping is an activity that is easy,health and interesting.It has a long history and wide spread,which is loved by people all over the world.As it is changing and developing constantly,the rope-skipping recreation activity turned to be a sport activity.The paper based on the arranging and regulating work on China Rope-skipping Rule.Contents about China rope-skipping competition items and methods were studied.The study aim is to explode the characteristic, law and feasible ways of China rope-skipping competition,to support theoretic gist for Rule standardization,to promote the popularization and expansion of China rope-skipping competition.The paper adopt the research methods of literature,interview, investigation and observation,to know the status quo of international and domestic rope-skipping competition,the circumstances the Rule examination on 2007 China Rope-skipping Open.To sum up the conclusion as follows:(1) Rope-skipping competition events:According to the competition orientation,the competition system was sorted as single structure physical ability event and technique ability event;multiple structure difficulty freestyle event and originality performance event.Each event contained several competition items.Single structure physical ability event contained 30s speed single,30s speed double,3min endurance single, 4×30s relay single and double,4×45s relay Double Dutch and 3min figure 8 team.It comes up to 6 competition items.Single structure technique ability event contained constant triple and double cross,2 competition items.Multiple structure difficulty freestyle event contained single rope single person,single rope 2 persons and single rope 4 persons; Double Dutch 3 persons and Double Dutch 4 persons.It comes up to 5 competition items.Multiple structure originality performance event integrated plentiful forms and abundant contents as 1 competition item. Thus,it perfect rope-skipping competition events and items system. (2) Different rope-skipping competition events use different rope-skipping competition methods and standard.Time parameter is used as counting judgment and criterion is used as grade judgment. Time-limited counting judgment is used on single structure physical ability event.Constant counting judgment is used on single structure technique ability event.The grade judgment criterion of multiple structure difficulty freestyle event emphasized rope-skipping difficulty.The grade judgment criterion of multiple structure originality performance event emphasized rope-skipping originality.So, the competition methods that were time-limited counting judgment, Constant counting judgment,difficulty-emphasized grade judgment and originality-emphasized grade judgment were formed,which developed rope-skipping competition particularly.
