Arch On The Problems Of Content Of "Double Dutch"in Chinese Jumping Rope Competition Rules

Rope skipping has been developed for thousands of years in China as a fitness program which is not restricted by the venue or age.But in China,fancy rope skipping is only twenty years old as a competitive sport.Double Dutch Single Freestyle is one of the most exciting events in fancy rope skipping competition.It needs the tacit coordination between the three players and smooth coordination with the long rope.It belongs to light equipment gymnastics and is also a scoring sport.Its characteristics include more body movements,more movements transformation and higher scoring difficulty.In order to promote the orderly development of rope skipping competition in our country,the national skipping promotion center,on the basis of the rules of the international rope skipping,is committed to formulating the rules of competition in line with the law of the development of the rope skipping movement in China.In the latest version of the rope skipping competition rules,the scoring elements of Double Dutch Single Freestyle are decided by three parts : degree of difficulty,creative layout and the specified elements.Double Dutch Single Freestyle is a new fast developing competitive sport both at home and abroad,while the competition rules are lagging behind the sport itself.In the process of participating in the competition and watching the matches on the spot,we find that there are some problems in the current rope skipping competition rules,such as logical errors,confusion of definitions,defining errors of degree of difficulty,etc.This research focuses on the study of the problems in Double Dutch Single Freestyle competition rules.In this study,literature,interview,comparative analysis and video analysis are used to investigate the FISAC-IRSF Referee's Handbook(Chinese version)of the international competition rule of 2015-2016.The research studies the problems in the competition rules concerning the part of “Double Dutch Single Freestyle” in Rope Skipping Competition Rules(2011 edition),National Competition Rules for Rope Skipping(2015 edition)and National Competition Rules for Rope Skipping(2018 edition)published by the National Sports General Administration.By comparing the general requirements,degree of difficulty and scoring method of “Double Dutch Single Freestyle” in the three editions of the competition rules,and making full use of the related game videos,the study tries to find out the existing problems in the competition rules,and put forward the corresponding suggestions with reference to the theoretical basis.Through the comparison and analysis of the three edition rules,it is concluded that: 1.Theobjective of the existing rope skipping competition rules for Double Dutch Single Freestyle is ambiguous and contrary to the principles of definition.2.In China's current competition rules of rope skipping for Double Dutch Single Freestyle,there is no clear classification of the degree of difficulty and non standard definition of difficulty level,which violates the principle of division.3.In the competition rules of rope skipping for Double Dutch Single Freestyle,the proportion of creative arrangement scoring rules is too large;scoring depends entirely on the subjective consciousness of the judges,and the scoring steps are too complicated.4.This study analyses the current rules of rope skipping competition in China from the perspective of rule theory,and concludes the reasons that lead to the imperfect rules of the rope skipping competition are because they violate the limitation and the currency of the rule theory.
