Bibliometrical Analysis Of Chinese Wushu Sanda Scientific Research Thesises From 1983 To 2005

Until the end of 2005,855 thesis had been accumulated since the first scientific research thesis of Wushu Sanda,"Early research about strategies of Sanshou",was published in 1983.These thesis are the essence of the talents and wisdom of innumerable scientific researchers engaged in studies on Wushu Sanda and those who love and care about Wushu Sanda.The purpose of the study is to analyze systematically the current situation of published thesis,the situation of quoted passages on Wushu Sanda,the groups of authors,the themes of studies and so on by the bibliometrical methods that were used in library science,aiming at completely reflecting the course and the current situation of development of scientific researches about Wushu Sanda.The conclusion of the study:1.Total number of the published thesis is 855,the quantity of the thesis increased gradually year by year, especially after the year of 2000,it got a all- around growth.2.The study methods of obtaining materials and facts account for 79.5%of total frequency,while the methods of sorting and analyzing the research materials and facts account for very insignificantly,which caused severeunbalance.3.Total number of quoted passages is 2615 times,the average quantity of quoted passages is too low,no other than 3.06.Among them,the quotation rates of periodical document and book document are 47.27%and 46.27%respectively,compared with scientific thesis of track and field and international scientific researches,the quotation rate of periodical document is rather lower,the quotation rate of book document is relatively higher.4.The Price of quoted periodicals index is 64.55%,half-life is 3-4 years,the documents are aging quite rapidly. This proves that the scientific researchers on Wushu Sanda possess a good sensitivity of new science and technology information,and a higher concentration on new knowledge,new technique,new methods.5.Among 855 thesis,the number of the authors is all together 933,appearance frequency are 1428 times,the average quantity of published thesis is 0.92.The best age zone for scientific research output is between the years of 31-35.The 87.4%of the authors are from advanced academes.The rate of co-writing is 43.27%,cooperation degree is 1.67,and it increased by degrees on the whole as time going on.6.The core authors of scientific researches on Wushu Sanda aged mainly between the years of 36-40(till 2005),and consist mainly of associate professors,lecturers of the highly educational background for researches.The largest quantity of published thesis is 21,the average published thesis is 3.39,in general,neither the max of published thesis nor the average quantity of published thesis is high.7.The themes of the scientific research thesis mainly take as veins the trainings and competitions of Wushu Sanda, analyze characteristics of physiology,mentality of athletes and kinematics,carry out a study on the development strategies of Wushu Sanda as well.Research suggestions:1.Researchers should earnestly study the program application methods of various fund pecuniary aid made by organizations,approaches and related requirements and regulations,have a definite object in view when applying for the subject.2.Researchers should think much of the study methods of sorting and analyzing the study materials and facts,particularly the learning and application of logic methods.3.In the beginning,middle,and end of research,researchers might as well read at deferent levels when referring to the documents. 4.As for the choice of research theme,researchers should be more creative and innovative,including the methodology innovation,theoretic innovation,experimental innovation,thoughtway innovation and etc.
