Wushu is China' s outstanding traditional national sport. It is rich in the form of exercise and training methods and set fitness,health,leisure entertainment together.Whether to improve students' physical and mental health,or to develop in students a strong sense of national pride,Wushu plays an irreplaceable role compared to other sports.With the basic education curriculum reform and sports and health education program in-depth,Physical education curriculum' s ideas,objectives,content,mothods, organization and evaluation are changing constantly,but at the same time there have also been a lot of problems that need to be resolved.As an important component of the new curriculum, Wushu plays a vital role for the implementation of the concept. However,Wushu education for middle school in our province exist a lot of things which need to be improved,such as in the new "curriculum standards" system,how to reform the traditional form of Wushu teaching and effectively curb Wushu' s decline in the whole physical education,etc.So how the concept of the new curriculum as a guide,and using the correct,scientific way of teaching Wushu is the important issue we are facing right now. In this paper,literature data,questionnaire,interview, data statistics and logical analysis are used to research and analysis the PE teachers,students,parents and school leaders in some areas of our province.The main idea of the paper is to understand the status of Wushu teaching in middle school under the new "curriculum system" and to research and analysis the factors which impact the Wushu teaching.Right now,the status of Wushu teaching in middle school under the new "curriculum system" exist a lot of problems, such as the school leaders do not pay enough attention to Wushu teaching,Wushu teacher shortages,lacking of Wushu teaching "art of attack and defense" content,PE teachers cannot deeply understand the content of the new" curriculum standards" and the students are parents have unbalanced view for the Wushu teaching.The factors which impact the Wushu teaching are cultural environment in Hunan province,the college entrance examination system,the attribute the school leaders have for Wushu and the teachers' level,students understanding of Wushu, the number of students in the class,Wushu venue equipment, Wushu associations and Wushu teaching mode.To solve those problems,there are some reform measures and problems for Wushu teaching;Director of education related executive departments and schools should change the educational thinking and pay enough attention to Wushu teaching,facing the current situation that the lackofWushu teacher for middle school,It is recommended to improve employment mechanism,increase the introduction of professional Wushu teacher,strengthen in-service training of teachers conditions for teachers and to increase a good Wushu teaching and learning environment,PE theacher should enhance learning and improve quality Of Wushu,improving teaching methods and optimizing the structure of Wushu courses,strengthing school Wushu club and Wushu associations,increasing exchanges between schools of Wushu activities,fully using the power the media have to increase the popularity of Wushu so that students will have a comprehensive understand of Wushu...
