The Disequilibrium Study Of Provincial Local Higher Education Finance In China

The localization of higher education is a significant trend of higher education development in the world. The local higher education is the main part of Chinese higher education. The development of the local higher education is directly related to the popularization of higher education, to the sustainable development of higher education, which relates to the development of local economy and science and technology innovation, coordination in the construction of a harmonious society. Relative the development level of population and economic in different regions, local fiscal imbalance of higher education is the key problem of the development of higher education in China. In this context, this paper will make a thorough study on the disequilibrium of our provincial local higher education finance.From the view of total investment, funding structure and per student expenditure, this article selects budget expenditure on education accounted for the proportion of local finance and GDP, expenditure funding and infrastructure funding for the proportion of budget expenditure on education, per student budget expenditure on education for the proportion of per student expenditure on education and other indicator to research the disequilibrium of local higher education finance in China. Then the article analyzes the factors which can affect the disequilibrium of local higher education finance, to make reference of the harmonious and sustainable of provincial local higher education.
