Since the middle of 1990s, as a new phenomenon in Education Internationalization, transnational education is developing very fast. Transnational education is not only a concept that is widely accepted by international organizations, governments, educators and traders, but also a huge project that is related with the moving of millions of people and billions of dollars. Many international organizations, governments and higher learning institutes work hard to find out the experiences in carrying out transnational education. Some international rules and standards are emerging.As a neighboring country to China, South Korea has got remarkable achievements in transnational education. At the same time, it encounters some typical problems. A study on the present situation and problems of transnational education in South Korea will deepen researchers and decision making departments understanding and be helpful to further the transnational education.The article is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction. It proposes the topic and research method, and clarifies several concepts. From Chapter two to Chapter three is the second part of the article. This part focuses on the transnational education in South Korea and its problems. It introduces the background of the development of transnational education in South Korea, its main forms, the scales of cash and the problems. The third part introduces the current development and problems of transnational education in China and proposes several suggestions.
