English is an important part of secondary vocational school courses. But because of the specificity of vocational school students, most of students in secondary vocational school are not interested and lack of confidence in English learning. Study-weariness becomes a serious problem. Researchers think it is necessary to provoke the secondary vocational students'intrinsic mental mechanism and educate their learning motivation in teaching activities.The research is mainly based on questionnaire survey method.In the survey, the researcher designed the questionnaires personally, made up the evaluation form of English learning motivation and delivered about 400 pieces of formal questionnaires to 4 public secondary vocational schools in Wenzhou City. The survey focus on secondary vocational school students'English learning motivation and its influence factors and try to find out the relation among the different individual variables, English learning motivation and its influence factors. The result is that there is no significant difference between the genders; while significant differences exist in schools, grades and majors.At the same time, seven aspects such as vocational students'self-awareness, motivation sources, learning aims, interests, favorite ways of learning, learning obstacles, learning attributions, and their favorite types of teachers are all accounted and analyzed.In the end, the researcher proposed stimulate motivation strategies on secondary vocational students English learning based on investigation results.1. Concern about students'emotion, re-awaken and inspire students'interest and confidence in English learning.2. Strengthen and cultivate secondary vocational school students'English learning strategies.3. Adjust teaching methods to meet the students'desire.4. Help secondary vocational school students'to hold appropriate learning attitude.5. Flexibly use of teaching materials to improve the actual effect of teaching.6. Teachers should improve their own self-cultivation and try to be liked by the students.
