In the new curriculum reform,a growing number of scholars given adequate attention on writing.From strengthening the writing theoretical research to focusing on writing teaching methods,all embody the importance of writing from the Chinese educators.In recent years,even though the study of writing has made some achievements,but the writing skills of students still hard to have a larger breakthrough,which is closely related with the preparation of writing part of Chinese textbooks.As a basis and virtue for classroom activities,as an important curriculum resources,writing part of textbook provide the content for teachers,and provide students with the content of writing study,therefore,the good preparation of writing part are the basic which improves students'writing skills.This paper selected American middle school textbooks"reader's choice" in California,which is a comprehensive textbook,that is,combined content of reading,writing and heating in one unit.researching its preparation of writing part will enrich domestic textbook's empirical research on this micro - levels and promote a certain significance.In this paper,studyed California middle school Chinese textbooks "reader's choice" grade 6-8 Student's Book in United States,analysis of the contents arrangements,structural sequence of the textbook writing,as well as the three aspects of visual representation on the part of the preparation of writing part,expounded theoretical basis of a textbook, summed up the rules and characteristics of the writing part of the textbooks,and finally clarified some valuable thinking and learning of the writing part of textbooks.Thesis includes six chapters,each chapter are summarized as follows:The first chapter is the preamble of thesis.First of all,to clarify the reasons for subjects that studying the preparation of the writing part of a textbook in United States is for improving and enriching the preparation of our country's writing part;followed reviewed the current preparation of writing part at home and abroad and described the research ideas, dissection of the related concepts.The second chapter is about compiled theoretical research of writing part of Chinese textbooks.This section focuses on the theoretical foundation of the preparation of writing part of Chinese textbooks, including the preparation of the textbook theory,learning theory,writing process theory,knowledge dissemination of the theoretical concept as well as education dissemination theories.Chapterâ…¢is about structure of the textbooks.This part introduce the overall structure of the textbook at the macro,at the micro it introduced the structure of writing part on details,specific analysis from the dominant structure to the hidden structures,and conclude the structural features of orderance,levels,integration,and balance. Chapterâ…£studies about the specific contents of the writing part of the textbook.This part describes the writing exercises,writing skills, writing workshop,and summarized the writing teaching strategie in the content,come to the practical,daily life,cooperation,system,and the main characteristics of the content.Chapterâ…¤of thesis research are presented writing.This part from the charts arrangements,layout design,and color vision inspection these three aspects,pointing out that an effective presentation can enhance the students interested in writing,improve textbook writing levels.Chapterâ…¥is the considering and leafing,this part made some problem for thought and discussion of the preparation,and clearly point out the valubles of the textbooks in the United States,provide some reference for domestic research.In this paper,the characteristics and innovations is talking about the writing teaching methord from preparation of textbook.One shows:the thesis at the international perspective selected a typical textbook in United States for the study,,which is more direct and intuitive.Another reflected the subject in the systemic and integrity.
