| Education internationalization has become one of the most important components of our society as well as its remarkable features,including both the internationalization of higher education and basic education.Though the connotation of internationalization of basic education is vast,international school is considered as its obvious embodiment.With a certain history,now it is in constant development all over the world.China is also in the progressive development of internationalization of basic education,from small to big by the combined effects of various factors. However,compared with some organizations of international education and some countries with advanced development,there is a long way to go.The developing course of internationalization of higher education shows that the internationalization of teacher is not only an important component of the internationalization of education,but also the primary factor of promotion.Therefore, the issue of teacher professional development in the context of international education is particularly urgent.This paper includes six parts:1) issues raised;2) introduction to and analysis of international school;:3) introduction to IBO, including its development,concept,curriculum,evaluation and so on;4) in detail of the teacher professional development of IBO;5) analysis of the influences of IBO education model to teacher professional development;6) summarization of what professional quality teachers,should have in the background of the education internationalization and some references to the professional development of teachers in China. |
