Nowadays more and more peple are interested in inheriting and reflecting the traditional culture of China which has been a very hot theme. While history textbook is one of the most important carriers which make the traditional culture of China inherited fluently. In old China, the scholars had their important task of inheriting and carrying forward the traditional culture, sometime, they even are the tradition culture of China. By getting the traditional culture of China, history textbook and the scholars together, this study want to construct the image of the scholars to make the history textbook play a real role in the traditional culture of China.The following issues will be explored in this study: 1. From history textbook characters statistic, dissertation tell the importance of the scholars. 2. Presenting the image of the scholars, via the analysis according to the textbook and the study from the historian. 3. Reflecting the problem exposed in image of the scholars in history textbook based on the above study.Based on the above exploration, the author will put forward five standpoints listed below.1. The history textbook don't pay enough attention on the image of the scholars.2. The liegemen and literators in history textbook are the representation of the scholars, who are not shaped very well.3. The trisection(politics, economy, civilization) to the history textbook, is one of the reasons to explain the bad shape of the scholars.4. The second reason is the tendency of the emperor and dynasty, which shade the rays of light from the scholars.5. People must pay more attention to the scholars and their inspirit to make the history textbook be a real carrier of the traditional culture of China.
