The Study On Sex Morality Values Of Contemporary College Students In China And The Construction Of Sex Morality Rules

This dissertation is completed on the base of a wide range of study by scholars both abroad and at home, focusing on the status of sex morality values of contemporary college students in our country as well as the construction of sex morality rules. The study on the status of sex morality values and construction of sex morality rules includes both theoretical speculation and status survey. Therefore, this dissertation adopts the means combined theoretical analysis and status survey. The dissertation is consisted of the following parts.The introduction of the dissertation discussed why I chose this topic and the relevant researches and the innovation of this dissertation, and expatiate the necessity of sex morality education and urgency of the construction on sex morality rules. The introduction also summarized the relevant researches and overall innovation of this dissertation.In part 1, the thesis defined on several relevant concepts of sex morality rules and laid the foundation for the study, and clarified the scope of the study. Under the guidance of Marxist moral values, I analyzed the complexity and particularity of sex morality rules and then expatiated a few of contradictions on sex morality rules.In part 2, the thesis analyzed on the China's history of sex morality education and reviewed the history of sex morality education in China since The May Fourth Movement. The history of sex morality education has been divided into three stages: the enlightenment stage (from The May Fourth Movement to the founding of New China); the closed stage (from the founding of New China to The Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee); the rise and development stage (from 1979 to present).Part 3: First, the incident of nude photographs in Hainan Normal University and the streaking incident in Tsinghua University circulated online exhibited the current status of sex morality values of university students. Second, through the questionnaire survey on students of four colleges I exhibited the current status of sex morality confusion and the urgent need to solution.In part 4, the thesis constructed the sex morality rules. First of all, it clarified the inner logic of construction of sex morality rules. The system of sex morality rules is divided into two levels: negative level and positive level. The negative sex morality rules include age taboos and incest taboo, privacy principles, free-will principle, non-harm principle and loyalty principle. Positive sex morality rules include abstention principle and principle of the accordance of sex and love.
