A Study Of The Organizational Features Of The Entrepreneurial University

The Entrepreneurial University is a new form of the university pattern of the overseas. It has been drawn much concern from 1950s when it comes forth. At the end of the 20th century, the theory of the Entrepreneurial University was brought into China, and gradually becomes a hostpot of the Highter Education study.This study choose "Organizational Features of the Entrepreneurial University" as the topic, the author firstly discusses the theory of the Entrepreneurial University; secondly, analyses three cases to testify the rationality of the dissertation about the Entrepreneurial University; thirdly, analyses the reality of the Entrepreneurial University in China, forcastes the the problems, puts forward some suggestions towards to the problems.The full text of the dissertation is divided into three parts. Its literary construction arrangement is as follows:Part one: discusses the theory (Chapter2).Based on the analyses of the correlative studies in the world, the author tries to put forward the conception, organizational features and the evaluation index system of the Entrepreneurial University. In this study, the organizational features of the Entrepreneurial University are: a strengthened steering core; a stimulated academic heartland; an innovative organization; a diversified funding base and an integrated entrepreneurial culture.Part two: analyses the examples (Chapter3). In order to testify the rationality of the dissertation about the Entrepreneurial University, this part uses case studies to analyse the rise and the development of the Entrepreneurial University. Firstly, the author analyses the development background of the Entrepreneurial University; secondly, the author chooses three cases to study the transformation background and the approaches, the cases are the Stanford University, the Warwick University and the Monash University; thirdly, the author stressly analyses the organizational features.Part three: analyses the reality (Chapter4).In this part, the author firstly chooses the Fuzhou University as the example to analyse the development of the Entrepreneurial University in China; and then the author forecastes the problems; at last the author puts forward some suggestions towards to the problems.
