Different Modes Of The Development Of Entrepreneurial Universities In Europe And America And Their Enlightenment

Entrepreneurial university is a new form of university organization full of risk-taking spirit and pragmatism spirit,rise and development conforms to the development law of higher education.It plays an important role in promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and its in promoting economic development and social services and becomes as is an important way for traditional universities to achieve leapfrog development.At present,China's higher education has entered the stage of connotative development,it is of great significance to study the successful experience and enlightenment of the rise and development of entrepreneurial universities so as to promote the construction of entrepreneurial universities with Chinese characteristics and the improvement of the quality of higher education.From the perspective of the rise and development of entrepreneurial universities,this study,taking the disclosure of the concept and connotation of entrepreneurial universities as the logical starting point,discussed the different modes of the rise and development of entrepreneurial universities in Europe and the United States.It is found that the European model originates from non-research universities,the theory of organizational change is the theoretical basis for its development,organizational transformation starts from universities that are relatively backward in development and on the edge of higher education system;The practice path is realized through the transformation of the internal organization,the cooperation with the external organization and the unique teacher incentive mechanism.,and Warwick University is taken as a typical case to analyze its transformation motivation,transformation measures and development experience.The U.S.model is originated from research universities,the Three Helix Theory is the theoretical basis for its development,the organization transformation aims to develop research universities with strong strength.The practice path is realized through knowledge capitalization,diversified technology transformation platform,strong entrepreneurship and strong entrepreneurial culture atmosphere,and MIT is taken as a typical case to analyze its transformation motivation,transformation measures and development experience.It is found that entrepreneurial university is a kind of concept with different development modes,and aims to develop into a real "solid" university with the spirit of self-reliance,self-development,risk-taking and the pursuit of excellence.The organizational transformation of entrepreneurial universities is not limited by the types and levels of universities.Its successful transformation needs to give full play to the main role of universities,and its not meaning all of universities need to transform into entrepreneurial university.In the process of promoting the entrepreneurial university with Chinese characteristics,we should devote ourselves to the fundamental task of cultivating talents by virtue,establish a strong control core,actively expand the development periphery of the university,strengthen discipline construction,obtain funds in a wide range of fields,and cultivate entrepreneurial value orientation and entrepreneurial culture.
