Study On Safe Human Survival Mode In Oasis Margin Area

The marginal area of Minqin Oasis is the key to the preservation of the whole oasis which is the most terrible desertification area and also the most fragile ecological environment area in Arid Region. Without emphasizing influence of the larger scale Climate Change upon the oasis margin, the previous research cited that the oasis desertification was oriented caused by the human activity in recent 25 years.The different parts of oasis margin had the separated formation and developing route of the human survival patterns. These kinds of distinctions were owing to the different environment status and the resource gift. The human survival patterns under the parallel resource and environment would always feed back to the externals, both two sides reciprocated with each and the corresponding effects accumulated. The current natural and artificial landscape of the oasis was the outcome. The local environment kept degenerating and even deteriorated, this condition attributed to the human activities. The patterns of human act: the human survival mode set its effects to environment directly. Consequently, optimizing the human survival mode is the only way to change this kind of situation, the so called "natural recover theory" is not of practice.By qualitative of PRA and quantitative of Save Survival Index compare of the different oasis margin area human survival patterns: we get the safe human survival mode here: the optimal human survival mode. Make this optimal mode as a "stencil" to optimize the survival patterns of the whole oasis margin. Based on this patterns optimization: the "threshold population" is calculated: the population scale is 33884; then planning the eco-industry development method. Finally, evaluating the environmental, economy and social impact. Under this safe survival mode frame, the harmonious Man-land relationship and the balance between the environment and development would be achieved.
