As national culture carrier,origin of all culture and product of primitive thinking,mythology is a style of literature created by human,which is chracterized by imagination and fantasy,reflects human's ideas and exploitation about reproduction,origins,nature and society and evolves by oral or letter.A great variety of myths are maintained and spread among all peoples especially minorities in China.Due to its mysterious narration,mythology provided material and inspiration for literature especially child literature.Sense of beauty,mysterious narration and gameful plot in myth accord with characteristics of child literature.And mythical thinking is one with children's ego-central thinking.As prototype of mind and original style of literature,mythology is able to nourish one's sentiment.Mythical stories in China,which belong to such prototype,could play a great role in children aesthetic education, moral education,character education and training of imagination and creativity.From development of cultural curriculum resources in kindergarten,this reaearch discussed importance of mythology to preschool education in practice and in theory,and made an attempt to construct kindergarten mythological curriculum.The contents are as follows:Firstly,As an introduction,this paper explained the reasons,made an related literature review, defined main concepts,proposed theoretical foundation,and then listed the thinking and methods.Secondly,based on theories of mythology,phychology,pedagogy and anthropology,this paper showed relationship between myth and child.From an aspect of curriculum resource development,it foucsed on value of myth in children education so as to prove the possibility of introducing myth into children education in theory.Thirdly,According to investigation and interview,the author argued it was important and possible to integrate mythological material into curriculum in kindergarten.The author made furhter attempt to how to develop and use children myhtological curriculum resource from theory to practice in order to construct primarily mythological curriculum system in kindergaren.Fourthly,in the end the article reviewed main conclusions in this research,and showed its deficiencies and prospect.
