When measure the social group's team spirit,group cohesion is important.Its main effect is to enhance the self-confidence and sense of security of group members and improve the team and the personal job achievement effect.Result brought about by group cohesion includes group and individual.Success,achievement is the characteristic of cohesion.Sport psychologists' research shows that there are close relevance between sports result and group cohesion level.But at home and abroad, scholars have not form a comparatively consistent view on the causal relationship between cohesiveness and sports result.In different situation, the relationship between group cohesion and sports result are different.In normal condition,cohesiveness can improve sports result and in certain condition the effect of group cohesion is decisiveness.Basketball is a teamwork sport.Its winning is closely related to the team's cohesion.In China,research on group cohesion level is less and has no research on group cohesion level of male basketball team in senior school.This paper is based on the survey of group cohesion of male basketball teams in senior school,it aims at studying the relationship between the teams' group cohesion and their achievements,it probes into how to strengthen and improve group cohesion.This paper use GEQ to study group cohesion level and its affect factors and also the relationship between sports result and group cohesion level of Beijing male basketball team in senior school.The survey shows that the team's group cohesion is closely involved with its success,the players' satisfaction and responsibility,the relationship between the team leaders,coaches and the players,and the importance the school leaders attaches to.And it shows that the position of group cohesion score is close to the position of sports score,the teams' group cohesion in high school has a direct bearing on the sports achievements and the group cohesion will directly result in the improvement of teams' performance.Cultivate cohesion is a long,hard,complicated process.This paper discuss how to improve group cohesion of male basketball team in senior school.
