Research On Non-monetary Compensation Motivation Of Teacher In Guangdong Baiyun University

Non-governmental higher education is an important component of higher education. Teachers of non-governmental university are from throughout China,most of them are youth. Teaching body in non-governmental university is unstable.How to stabilize teaching body and motivate teachers of non-governmental university? Monetary compensation motivation is the first choice.But only do so,it is impossible to achieve the goal.Guangdong Baiyun University is the famous non-governmental university.Offering bad salary is really not reason of many teachers' turnover,non-monetary compensation such as high press,no achievement,no chance of growth and development are important reasons of teachers' turnover.This paper takes teachers in Guangdong Baiyun University as the object of research.The author used reference from results of research on non-monetary compensation motivation factors and motivation methods and consulted the theory of motivation and Mahen Tempoe's motivation model of knowledge worker.On the basis of questionnaire investigation and interview,the author ascertain non-monetary compensation motivation factors of teachers in Guangdong Baiyun University through explorative factor analysis.Accordingly,the author design questionnaire investigation of non-monetary compensation motivation.By the methods like analysis of descriptive,analysis of variances,this paper analyses the teachers' needs of non-monetary compensation motivation and teaching body's status of non-monetary compensation motivation.In view of the above,this paper further analyses the difference between needs and status and the reasons causing difference.This paper discusses some suggested countermeasures improving non-monetary compensation motivation of teachers in Guangdong Baiyun University.
