A Study Of The Developing Strategy Of Chinese Traditional Wushu

Traditional Wushu is the fruit of collective wisdom formed in the long term practice of labor and struggle of Chinese nation.It is not only the unique sport of Chinese nation,but also an important carrier of traditional Chinese culture.Traditional Wushu has made an indelible contribution in fostering the spirit of Chinese nation and defending Chinese civilization.China is implementing the great strategy of national revival.The building of a harmonious society has become an important national policy. In this context,traditional Wushu,the bearer of Chinese culture for thousands of years, should contribute to that end.However,the overall development of traditional Wushu nowadays is in the obvious trend of atrophy because of a variety of factors.Therefore, how to inherit and develop traditional Wushu has become an urgent and significant topic.The study on the developing strategy of Chinese Wushu has a positive significance in protecting and developing the excellent traditional culture and in promoting its sustainable development.This essay dwells on current development situation of Chinese traditional Wushu and the countermeasures.By using the method of literature and data,the logic of induction and the comparative analysis,it draws the following conclusions:(1) The atrophy of traditional Wushu in today's society are caused by a variety of factors,including:the impact of western sports and other external martial arts;the negative effects of competitive sports to the development of traditional Wushu;the insufficient attention of relevant policies to traditional Wushu;the change of social environment,modern ways and values of life;the fetters of traditional Wushu itself, such as being obsolete.(2) The traditional Wushu still has a wide developing space in today's society and has its value and significance of existence.It has a great positive meaning in meeting the health needs of humanity today,the need of people's entertainment and appreciation, and the needs to promote economic development.It can contribute to the promotion of East-West cultural exchanges,the promotion of national culture and the promotion of building a harmonious society.It can also contribute to the inheriting of national culture and experiencing the tradition.(3) The countermeasures in developing traditional Wushu in today's society include: raising the cultural strategic position of traditional Wushu,strengthening its protection and inheritance,promoting its reform and innovation,spreading and popularizing the traditional Wushu and letting it going abroad.From the study above,we can see that in today's social contexts we should strengthen the sense of concern and protection of the traditional Wushu,which is atrophying.We should correct misconceptions about it,and to develop it as a cultural strategy.We should do further excavation,exploration and analysis of the value and function of traditional Wushu in today's society.The Government should attach great importance to and vigorously support the development of traditional Wushu.It should establish practical regulations,policies in inheriting and developing traditional Wushu, set up sound mechanism of competitions and scientific mechanisms,increase the propaganda and provide favorable conditions for the socialization and internationalization of traditional Wushu.
