Volleyball league match of our country began to reform in management and competition systems since 1996, growing from. 8 teams at the beginning to the present 32 teams. Great achievements are won both in system reformation and in the match development. Problems arise with the growing of the national league match. The main problem at present is the problem of home field for each club. Home fields for league match clubs were at first in the big cities and then in smaller cities, and in recent games seasons, some clubs set their home fields in colleges or universities. The unstable home field selection should be paid attention to by the volleyball management center and the management staff of the related clubs. If the situation continues to be like this, harms will be done to volleyball fans, the clubs as well as to the development of the league match. The paper deals with the situation in which some volleyball match field are set in colleges or universities and tries to provide the theoretic references for the national volley league match to have stable home fields.The paper uses the methods of literature and materials, questionnaires, interviewing, statistics and logical analysis. As to the situation in which some club teams set their home fields in colleges and universities, the main research objects are the five college match fields of 2008-2009 game season in Zhengzhou University, Fudan University (Shanghai) Huangshi institute of technology (Hubei Province), Weifang University of Science and Technology (Shandong Province) and Fujian Normal University. And analyses are done to the student audiences in the five college match fields. Study shows that student audiences in the five colleges in 2008-2009 game season male students are more than female students and students are mostly from grade one and grade two. Motivations for field student audiences are mostly interested in volleyball sport, learn skills by watching the match and that there are volleyball stars they like. Most students approve of setting the match field on college campus, but they are not familiar with the national volleyball league match. Students have the desire to interact with the players. It is suggested that clubs of the league match promote the sport in a greater degree and carry on social interactions with college students. As to the ticket price of the national volleyball league match, the acceptable price for college students is less than 10 yuan and they hope to buy souvenirs form the league match. Clubs can develop souvenirs for volleyball league match in order to make up the low ticket price, and at the same time, enforce impressions among the students. As to the selection of college match fields, considerations should be from stadiums, participation of the students, sport consumption for the students, campus competitive systems, attitudes of the colleges and whether volleyball is the traditional advantageous item for the colleges. Research shows that the large amount of colleges and college students in the nation is the potential market that should be developed for the national volleyball league match. College students should be oriented to be the object market for the national volley league match. But the main task for college stadiums is to provide for teaching, and it is suitable for the national volleyball league match to set in the colleges in the long run. It is suitable for club league teams of "all students" and Group B teams of the present volleyball league match to set their home fields in colleges or universities.
