Stigma is a symbol or a label, it represents that people who has been labeled have negative attributions that do not welcomed by society. The result is that personal value is damaged and social identity is disparaged. AIDS stigma is manifested in the negative stereotypes prejudice and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and those associated with PLWHA. AIDS stigma is an important hindrance to AIDS prevention behaviors such as condom use, searching for HIV test, seeking medical help after HIV positive diagnose, and nursing to HIV positive people et al.Revised social dominance orientation (SDO) scale, just world belief scale for college students (authors: Du Jianzheng, et al.) and self-established AIDS stigma questionnaire for college students were used in this study in order to explore the relationship among social dominance orientation, just world belief and AIDS stigma, after analysis the data collected from 860 college students on campus, conclusions are as follows:(1)Self-established AIDS stigma questionnaire has 3 dimensions: first, social distance; second, moral judgment and blame; last but not the least, compellent treatment opinion. This questionnaire has good reliability and validity, it can be used as a tool for measuring AIDS stigma of college students.(2)Reversed social dominance orientation scale (author: Jost and Thompson, 2000 ) includes 3 factors: anti-equality wishes; support for maintaining group hierarchy; and support for group-based dominance. this scale has acceptable reliability and validity, it can meet the demand of psychometric index.(3) Demographic differences for total scores of AIDS stigma and its 3 dimensions have been tested, on the dimension of moral judgment and blame, MANOVA and F test found that Guangdong samples have higher scores than Henan samples. It may be the result of the main infection route are different in this two areas. MANOVA and F test found that grade differences are significant in total scores of AIDS stigma and all the dimensions of the questionnaire. Trend was found that AIDS stigma has increase as age and grade grows, it may be the result of socialization.(4) significant positive correction is found between social dominance orientation and AIDS stigma, social dominance orientation and just world belief has significant negative correction, correction between just world belief and AIDS stigma are negative.(5) Both just world belief and Social dominance orientation can do predict AIDS stigma, the first and the second dimensions of Just world belief has feeble mediating effects between some dimensions of social dominance orientation and AIDS stigma. An interesting discovery is that contradict to the author's primitive hypothesis, just world belief predict AIDS stigma negatively.
