| The basic character of children and adolescents growth and development.The level and speed of growth and development not only reflect the health situation of children and adolescents,but directly affect their health in the future,present the development and advancement of the society and the situation of the medicine and health protection.There are some factors in nature and society which can result in the growth and development.The level and changing of children and adolescents' growth and development is one of the comprehensive indices which presents the development of social politic,economic and culture.To conduct the research about the changing trend of children and adolescents' growth and development is not only the human physiological need,but also the requirement of the social development and progress.This study,on the basis of the survey of the Dalian students' physique,selected the middle and elementary school students of 7-18 years old in 1985,1995 and 2005 as the subjects and the body shape indices as the research content.Having compared the variations of the development level and speed of the students' body shapes in the 20 years the article reveals the development law of the body shapes of the Dalian students so as to provide theoretical reference to the improvement of students' physique and school physical education and health work.The result of the study shows the following:1,During these 20 years,the physical form of the growth rate of the students from 7 to 18years of Han nationality of Dalian has the characteristics of the overall acceleration,ahead of a period of rapid growth and extension of sustained growth.The growth rate between boys and girls is different,the growth rate of the girl body rate has no obvious change during these 20 years.But at the national level,it has the characteristics that the weight growth and development for the girl in Dalian is 1 year ahead of schedule than that of nationality,and the period of sustained growth extended 1 and 2years.It has the trend characteristics that the period of sustained growth of the bust development for Dalian girl ahead of 1 year.2,It has some changes during these 20 years that the height,weight,and chest of the sudden increase for the Dalian students from 7 to 18 years of Han Nationality.It has the trend ahead of 1 year for boys in height,weight and chest,for girls in height of the period of sudden increase,and the characteristics of the trend that the bust has advanced 1—2years. 3,The increase of the height,weight and chest of the Han nationality students in Dalian has showed different from the year 1985 to the year 2005.The level of the development not only shows a distinct long tendency,but shows different feature according to different ages and years.Compared with those in the former 10 years(1985-1995),the increase value and increase speed of the height,weight and chest circumference in the latter years(1995-2005) show the different characteristics.Specific performance as follow:the height change of both boys and girls appears to be fast at first and slow later.The weight of boys appears to be slow at first and fast later,and the girls show fast at first and slow later.During the childhood and puberty it shows slow at first and fast later.The increase of the chest shows fast at first and slow later.That is to say,the peak increase level of body shape of the Han nationality students in Dalian may slow down in the years to come.But there is another important need to be paid attention.That is the weight change of Han nationality students from age 7 to age 18,during the time of childhood and puberty,is faster for the latest 10 years than the past 10 years.So that is mean that probably the account of fat students will increase in the local area.
