The schema is an important concept in cognition psychology, and it is a set for some kinds of knowledge representations that are stored inside long-term memory. The modern cognition psychology research points out that the scheme has the important role for the individual study as it can not only affect the individual understanding for the knowledge, but also affect to the individual possessing and applying knowledge. Therefore, the modern mathematics teaching emphasizes that the mathematics teaching needs to rest on student's schema foundation, follows student's schema changing and development law. So you must profoundly understand student's mathematics schema, firstly, then clear student's mathematics schema traits. Therefore, it has important meanings for studying student's mathematics schema traits, and it already became a hot topic to the current mathematics education research. This paper centers on the question to launch the work. And the main matter is the current middle school student's mathematics scheme characteristics.This paper mainly uses the literature analytic method, the survey and the theory analytic method.The paper firstly carries on the analysis to the general schema theory, and then researches carefully to mathematics scheme theory in this foundation, especially to mathematics schema processing mechanism. Then, established the middle school student mathematics scheme questionnaire according to the correlation theories and the existing related investigation, then carried on the detailed survey according the plan, and has carried on the statistics and the analysis to the survey result, thus has summarized the current middle-school student's mathematics schema traits. Finally, put forward some proposals to reform current mathematics teaching in the survey results.This paper carries on the analysis and the research to the survey result, summarizes the current middle-school student's mathematics scheme characteristic to have the following several spots.This paper summarized that the current middle school student's mathematics scheme characteristics have the following spots: 1By the order of knowledge representation, the original form first, next is the definition, the nature, finally is the application knowledge;2 The middle-school student mathematics scheme's breadth results show that the primary scheme are majority, the higher scheme are relatively few;3 By the middle school student mathematics scheme, the primary scheme's clarity is higher, the higher scheme's clarity need enhancing;4 The interrelatedness ability of middle school student mathematics scheme is low and need enhancing.5 The middle school student mathematics scheme contains the individual appraises. Moreover, by the synthesis discovered that: 1 the middle-school student mathematics scheme's breadth, the clarity, the interrelatedness, the individual appraise has influences to the academic records; 2 the gender factors have influences to the student scheme's breadth, the clarity and the interrelatedness score, but do not affected to the individual appraises.Based on the results, this paper proposed some teaching suggestions: 1 enhance the ability of the scheme's interrelatedness on the digit and graph; 2 strengthens the utility of the knowledge and deepens the understanding of to the knowledge; 3 The mathematics scheme that has meaningful structure is advantageous to shorten the length of question solving; 4 Value teaching for thinking methods and so on.
