On Development Of Modern Wushu

Chinese Wushu can go back to ancient times, having a long history, It is the fathers of the nation derived from the unique characteristics of a wonderful work in survival practice for thousands of years. Under the long-term influence of Chinese culture, Wushu has developed into the national traditional sports of the colorful form, rich content, deep culture and many social functions, which is loved by not only the masses of our country, but also more and more people of the world.In recent years, with the vigorous development of Wushu sports and the emergence of confusions and embarrassment of Modern Wushu in the development, the development of Modern Wushu have become an increasingly urgent problem. In this thesis, I made earnest research by Reviewing, Literature, Interviewing experts, Experience, Suming up, Logic and Comparative study.In 1840s, it was a major turning period in the Chinese nation history of the development. With the intrusion of Western culture, Wushu has entered a new period of development, and beguns its great transition from Traditional Wushu to the Modern Wushu. New China promotes Modern Wushu a set of great changes. From new China setting up to today, the modern Wushu has been more than 50 years, Under the attaching great importance of our party and government, Modern Wushu sports had made the rapid development, synchronously a lot of new content and new problems emerged in it. In this regard, experts, scholars have devoted considerable effort to it, published tens of thousands of papers.This thesis holds that the transition from Traditional Wushu to Modern Wushu mainly reflected in: With the intrusion of Western culture, in the process of integration between the Western way of thinking of "Decomposition of refinement" and the Chinese traditional way of thinking of "whole one", the Traditional Wushu fissile differentiation occurred, that is, Wushu was decomposed from unity of the whole value system of multi-function from martial arts, art of attack and defense, recreational, aesthetic to detail. Differentiation of Traditional Wushu represents the main forms of exercise for the following: Combat Sports Wushu (Sanda, Pushing Hands, Short Weapons, etc.), Routines Competitive Wushu, Popular Fitness Wushu, Art-Wushu and Power Competitive Wushu that now has shown the vigorous vitality. There are so many forms of Wushu that modernist has made misunderstandings about the whole concept of Wushu. This thesis is also based on this point to study issues of the Wushu development.This thesis firstly defined the concept of Modern Wushu and studied the development of forms of Modern Wushu one by one on the basis of being clear about the relationship between various forms of Modern Wushu sports and Traditional Wushu, and then analyzed their status quo of development, cast back its history, listed reasons of existence, brought forward some recommendations and countermeasures on its development. And the emerging concept of Art-Wushu was also dissertated especially. Considering on the problem of the internationalization of Modern Wushu, this thesis holds that increasingly improved Sanda will be the best choice for the project to enter the Olympic competition under representing characteristics of Chinese traditional struggle. Finally, This thesis put forward the general recommendations on the development of Modern Wushu, and emphasized that Modern Wushu must attach importance to question of succession to Traditional Wushu, because only perfect inheritance, only legitimacy development.In short, this thesis argues that various forms of Modern Wushu sports has its significance and necessity of existence and each plays an essential role in their respective in inheriting Traditional Wushu. We should develop Modern Wushu with the spirit of " to survive in adapting, to develop in the reform", and then promote the all-sided, accurate, scientific, continuable development of Chinese Wushu.
