With the development of society,moderate intellectual disabilities have become the objects of special schools in China,though they were mild intellectual disabilities before.Special schools' curriculums were changed because of this reason,physical education curriculum included.This change has an important influence to their development of these students with moderate intellectual disability.Since a long period,the theory of physical education curriculum about moderate intellectual disabilities was lagged by the practice out and away.It is concluded via my research as follows,1.After they were trained formally and regularly,students with moderate intellectual disability took significant change in heir bodies and mentalities.Their bodies' function and constitution were promoted; their sport skills were improved;their cognize and communication abilities were enhanced and their attitude for study becomes more positive than before.2.The physical education course in special schools need to proceed from reality,adapt to the request beinghit by students with moderate intellectual disability,satisfy the need that they train to motion, the basis waits to arrange teaching for coming condition according to the teaching target,student's study interest and hobby,now available teaching condition and equipment and material,student's studying, to promote much better development of student be that major students work out the individual education plan,put individual teaching into practice together.3.By now,our country still continues to use main direction document in 1994 as special schools' physical education teaching,already not able change happened in the student and the school reality but the theory being able to not adapt to the physical training being hit by these students with moderate intellectual disability at present already obviously are behind "outline" teaching practice.4.Nowadays,the content giving lessons giving lessons adopt a collective to give lectures mainly ask the teacher now to carry out adjustment according to the school reality.Come the body to be in progress to that the condition and student that the student participates in mainly when valuation,according to motion progressive condition, the way being to adopt a grade to grade mainly,such development of more suitable student condition.5.Via the physical education course,we should not only going to develop the body enginery being hit by the students with intellectual disability,but let them grasp the sports technical ability and the society acclimatization wanting to improve them.
