Research For The Navigational Sports Clubs Of Qingdao And The Affected Developing Strategy

The Olympic Games will be held in our country in 2008,and Qingdao serves as the cooperative city of Beijing Olympic Games.During the Games,the windsurfing competition will be held in Qingdao.Thereby,the government of Qingdao put forward a slogan which is 'Sailing with the heart to success' and strive for making Qingdao as the city of sailing boats.Qingdao is one of the cradle of Chinese modern navigational sports,and there is also a good foundation of the sports in Qingdao.By the chance of the Olympic Games,the navigational sports clubs make a great development in Qingdao,and the number of the clubs and consumers enlarges rapidly;however,various problems occur as the clubs develop.It is difficult for us to face the developing strategy which is limited by the Current situation of the navigational sport in Qingdao.Therefore,on the basis of knowledge about the patterns and the characteristics of commercial athletic clubs,the writer analyzes problems involved in navigational sports clubs and its strategy of development by investigating the current situation in Qingdao.During the research,the number of respondents comes to almost 470;meanwhile, the writer analyzes the results by use of document data,questionnaire and statistics.The results indicate:1.There is rich source of inland water area in Qingdao,and its geographic conditions and the climate characteristics is suitable for the development of navigational sports.With centuries-old navigation sports,undertaking of sailing boats competition in 2008s Olympic Games and the support of the government,there is a positive chance for the development of navigational sports clubs.2.The development of navigational sports clubs is influenced by many problems,such as men and women proportion of coaches out of balance, disordered management,conflicting standard,low level of education, lacking of participating time,short of experience and certificate doesn't match with the rules.3.Some clubs is lack of finances and hardware facilities.4.Service project of some clubs is unitary,and the price is higher.5.In Qingdao,all of sweeping clubs adopt a management pattern that the general manager in charge of clubs and the coach engaged;however, in some mini-sized clubs,the general manager is in charge of all,and division of work is indeterminate.6.Regarding to navigational sports in Qingdao,consumers' age concentrates on 31-40-year-old,and the majority of them are high-level directors;moreover,there is a serious dispute in such aspect as short participating time and dissatisfaction to hardware and service project of clubs.7.Due to a series of strategy and support of the government,teenagers become the growing consumption group and they own large amount of navigational equipment;besides,the OP type sailing boat is cheap in price.However,the proportion of people participating navigational sports is not high.8.The navigational sports club of Qingdao is satisfied to the service of clubs and level of coach,but disappointed at hardware and sorts of service.In accordance with the current situation of navigational sports clubs in Qingdao and some beneficial experience,the writer proposes some correlative advice to the developing strategy of navigational sports clubs in Qingdao.Followed as:1.The club should refer to the climate characteristic of Qingdao and arrange suitable programs according to different climate characteristic of each month;therefore,its projects can vary more often so that it can improve service quality and efficiency.2.To the navigational sports clubs in Qingdao,it is badly needed that the culture and special field level of the coach should be improved, the coincident standard should be worked out to improve the overall level of coach' s organization,especially to the training of the people who can speak Korean so that we can get share of affected Korean market.3.The navigational sports clubs in Qingdao should apply themselves to improvement of hardware and provide consumers with various types of models for teaching and charter party.4.The price of clubs is slightly high.It should be known that the navigational sports do not only belong to the noble.The clubs should adjust the price appropriately to expand the potential market.5.The clubs should make clear characteristic among various consumers. Not only make more advertisement to the important consumers' group,but clubs should also think much of developing female market and promoting teenagers' business so that they can open up new market.
