The Present Situation Of Chinese Women's Pole Vault And It's International Competitive Status

This thesis deeply rserch the present situation and international competitive status of Chinese women' s pole vault sport through an empirical approach.The combination of internal and external perspective is it' s characteristic.On the one hand,through questionnaires of frontline coaches and athletes,this thesis examine the number, educational level,age structure as well as technical level of Chinese women' s pole vault athletes and the geographical distribution, equipment status and the coaches team of the women' s pole vault sport in china.On this basis,the thesis makes further analysis on the constraining factors of Chinese women' s pole vault sport.On the other hand,in order to provide advice for preparing the 2008 Olympic Games and making recent development plan for the near future,this thesis deeply analyzes the level and international competitive trend of Chinese women' s pole vault,and then the competitive strength of Chinese women' s pole vault in Asia and the world,through searching information on the internet and data base.This thesis is based on a large number of empirical data and interviews of senior experts and scholars, therefore,it has some theoretical and reference values to the popularity and development of Chinese women' s pole vault sport.
