Object:The purpose of this study was to search for the gene locus associated with training efficiency of HiHiLo,thus use it to predict the efficiency of HiHiLo and as a genetic marker for sepicific hypoxic training protocol.Methods:72 male students of Beijing Sport University underwent HiHiLo training lasting 4 weeks, and physiological phenotypes including VO2max,RBC,HB,HCT as well as cardiac morphology and cardiac function of static & incremental exercise & recovery status were respectively measured before and after HiHiLo training.Single nuclear polymorphism of rs2854744,rs9282734 and rsl3223993 locus in IGFBP3 were genotyped by PCR-RFLP,and had association study with measured physiological phenotypes. Results:There was no any association between polymorphism of three locuses in IGFBP3 with hemaologic or cardiac morphological index. With respect to left ventricular function,Rs2854744 polymorphism was associated with 50W/SV&C0,100W/ SV&CO at baseline,as AA genotype had higher level than AC genotype, and with HiHiLo training response in 150W/HR and CI,as AA genotype had more significant changes.Rs9282734 polymorphism was associated with 50W/EF&C0&CI,100W/CO and Recovery/EF at baseline,as AA genotype had higher level than AC genotype and with HiHiLo training response in static/HR,50W/SI and 100W/SI,as AC genotype had more significant changes. Conclusion:AA genotype of rs2854744 and AC genotype of rs9282734 in IGFBP3 gene might be genetic markers in predicting the efficiency of left ventricular function by HiHiLo training.
