Effectiveness Of Education For Thanksgiving On Contemporary College Students

In recent years, colleges have generally carried out thanksgiving education in our country, which plays an important role in making up for the insufficiency of the ways of traditional ideological and political education, raising the ideological and moral training of college students, promoting the socialist spiritual civilization and the construction of harmonious campus and even harmonious society. However, through the investigation of the effectiveness of thanksgiving education in three universities in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, the author found that there were still some common problems which had influenced the further implementation of thanksgiving education. These problems prominently are reflected in the following aspects: the essence of the thanksgiving education is inaccurately grasped and the trend of vulgarization is obvious; thanksgiving education confines itself to the formalities and is lack of long residual action. The objectives of the thanksgiving education are not clear and their contents are not specific and lack of systematic ness. But that are still some university students are lack of gratitude consciousness, and therefore the thanksgiving education is far short of effectiveness. As to the problems, this paper analyzes in depth the main reasons that lead to the ineffectiveness of college thanksgiving education: market economy gives negative effect to the effectiveness of thanksgiving education; The grateful education is not implemented well in universities and is weak in innovation; family grateful education lags behind the modern educational concept; the quality of university students is still low and the thanksgiving education is short of the epochal character, etc. All of these reasons affect the effectiveness of thanksgiving education. Facing the factors that impact the effectiveness of thanksgiving education, families, universities and the society need to cooperate with one another in order to improve the effectiveness of it. Specifically speaking, lay a solid foundation for the family grateful education; try to innovate in the college grateful education system, promote systemic thanksgiving education; improve moral education and create the social atmosphere for thanksgiving education; strengthen the college students' self-grateful education.
