Educational equity, the core and the premise of social equity, is the stretch and reflection of social value in the area of education. With the increasingly attention on it, many researches of educational equity appealed in higher education, compulsory education and preschool education except from rural vocational education. Gradually, people pay more attention to the importance of rural vocational education. Rural vocational education which can cultivate new type of peasant and transfer surplus labor to city will play an important role in the construction of the new countryside. In view of this, investigation into the deficiency and the strategies of educational equity in rural vocational education is necessary for the construction of the new countryside and entire education equity.The thesis consists of four parts. The first part outlines some related theory of educational equity in rural vocational education .The second part summarizes the vital significance of educational equity and elaborate the favorable circumstances. As the important part of education, rural vocational education is helpful in constructing harmonious society. The third part describes the deficiency of educational equity through three aspects, the starting point, the process and the outcome. According to this, the fourth part proposes the strategies of equity in rural vocational education.
