In order to solve the long distance between primary and secondary school students and the educational difficulties of left-behind children in rural areas after the layout adjustment,boarding schools in rural areas have grown rapidly since the middle and late 1990s.Boarding primary school plays an important role in boosting the balanced development of education.It is the product of China's economic and social development and the development of education itself.It is also an important component of rural compulsory education.In recent years,the state has taken a series of major policies and measures to continuously strengthen compulsory education in rural areas,but boarding schools are still the shortcomings of education,and need to be further strengthened urgently.In 2018,the State promulgated the Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on the Comprehensive Strengthening of the Construction of Small-scale Schools and Rural Boarding Schools,pointing out the goal of revitalizing rural education.With the Rural Boarding Schools extending to the lower grades of primary schools,the problem of the development of the younger students has gradually become prominent.Therefore,the author hopes to present the problems in the construction of boarding primary schools and the results achieved in recent years,so as to take more effective measures to solve the problems,promote the scientific and healthy development of rural boarding primary schools,and lay a solid base for the balanced development of rural education.Through collating the literature and field survey methods,based on the previous research,relying on the investigation of rural boarding primary schools in Z County,Hubei Province,the author combines theory with practice in the perspective of educational equity theory to study the above problems.It is hoped that more scientific and practical countermeasures and suggestions can be put forward.According to the above logic,this paper is divided into six chapters:first it's the introduction,as the beginning of the article,including research background,research significance,literature review,the definition of core concepts,research methods and so on.The second chapter introduces the historical evolution of the development of rural boarding primary schools.Chapter three first introduces the educational equity theory from the perspective of this study,and then establishes the relationship between educational equity theory and rural boarding primary schools.Chapter IV is the development status of rural boarding primary schools in China.Taking the rural boarding primary schools in Z County of Hubei Province as an example,this paper analyses the achievements and problems of the development of rural boarding primary schools in China.Chapter 5 and Chapter 6,based on the theory of educational equity,analyze the reasons for the problems of rural boarding primary schools in China,so as to put forward further countermeasures and suggestions for the development of rural boarding primary schools.
