The Sustainable Development Of The Competitive Badminton In The Hunan Province

Badminton is the traditional and advantageous project for Hunan Province. With generations of generations' effort of Hunan people, Hunan has transported one batch excellent athletes for the national badminton team, has attained good achievements both in home and international competitions, and has won uncounted honors for our motherland and Hunan Province.However, the Hunan army is confronted with gigantic pressure with the rise of international level and some provinces' and cities' catching up with and surpassing. In 2004 four athletes in Hunan Province were chosen as the delegates for the Chinese Badminton Team in Athens Olympiad, but no gold was obtained; in 2008 Bao ChunLai, Zheng Bo, only the two male athletes were chosen as the delegates for Beijing Olympiad and none Hunan female athlete entered the competition. The badminton sport in Hunan province develops slowly; the advantages of female team is being weakened up, and the reserve of talented person is caught in the crisis, all which will greatly affect the sustainable development of the competitive badminton in the Hunan province. Under such circumstances, this thesis adopts the methods of questionnaires, expert interviewing, document data, parallel analysis, reasons and statistics, etc to analyze the present situations of the policies, human resources and education to make a further study of the sustainable development in Hunan. Apart from that, the paper will also provide the new train of thought in terms of theory, and provide reform strategies in practice. The following conclusions have been drawn by investigations and studies:1,The Hunan province government attaches great importance on the sustainable development of the badminton sports , but the development degree of ever city is respectively different; under new environment, such questions still exit as fund being short of, incentive mechanism for breed of the reserve personnel being incomplete, enthusiasm of the team members' and the coach's being decreasing, and the negative effect for the recruitment, cultivation and breed of the talented persons. All those make the policy resource become an important link for the sustainable of the athletics badminton development in Hunan province.2,The reserve of talented person for Hunan province badminton team is more sufficient, but their culture quality remains to be improved; the contradiction between leaning and practicing being gradually outstanding, is related to athletics' cultivation and breed. Therefore, it has become the key links to ensure the sustainable development of the sports badminton sports in Hunan Province that great efforts should be made to improve athletes' awareness to study and solve the contradiction of combining sports with education both in mechanism of management and system.3,The coach team expands gradually, but their overall quality and the scientific research ability remain to be improved; the coach teams' educational background and knowledge structure are poor; their teaching methods and means are lagging, all which are difficult to satisfy the meet Of the contemporary training science. Therefore, to reinforce the information dynamics of scientific research, attach importance to scientific material-selection, strengthen the administration of the athlete culture studies, are a central link to ensure the sustainable development of athletics badminton in Hunan province.So, in order to guarantee the traditional advantages of badminton sports in Hunan Province, the guidelines of sustainable development should be established. Apart from that, we also have positive policy resources as backing, sufficient reserve talent resource as the foundation stone and advanced education resource as motive force, all which construct the sustainable development framework of badminton sports in Hunan Province.
