Guizhou Province is located in underdeveloped regions in western China.Its economic and educational development is lagging behind. Development of the western region is a good opportunity to not only the economic and social development in Guizhou,but also the development of school sports in Guizhou.However,due to the PE teachers' knowledge and ability fail to meet the requirements of social development,which seriously impacts on the successful implementation of the elementary PE and its sustainable development.College PE is a "production machine" to train PE teachers in basic education,which course content is reasonable or not,directly related to the PE teachers' level in our schools as well as the success and failure of education reform.Therefore,as long as the college PE matches the middle school teachers' knowledge,ability and quality with the school PE teaching,it can truly reflect the principle of having achieved and studying for the sake of application,as well as guarantee the new PE curriculum reform and the development.On the basis of promoting the smooth implementation of elementary physical education reform,but also perfecting the college PE curriculum, the author investigates the current status of secondary school PE teachers' quality and analyzes PE curriculum of five undergraduate colleges in Guizhou Province through literature reference,investigation and logical analysis.The result shows that there is a gap between curriculum structure in college and the students' knowledge and ability.Therefore,it can promote the interactive development between the college PE major and elementary PE reform through reforming continuously and perfecting the college curriculum.It is important and necessary to both.On the basis of these,the author advances the reform countermeasures of college PE curriculum in Guizhou Province,and then supply PE curriculum reform with reference.
