A Study On Connecting Campus Culture Of Secondary Vocational School And Corporate Culture

As vocational education faces both opportunities and challenges, in order to grasp the first opportunity in competitions, vocational schools should not only work hard on building professional team of teachers and improving school facilities, but also should give prominence to education concepts. Connecting campus culture and corporate culture is an issue that can not be neglected when combining effectively the short cycle of market and the long term of education and training of competent people, and connecting employment in enterprises and education in schools to create favourable conditions for the development of students' practice ability. This study aims to analyze the policy environment for connecting campus culture of secondary vocational school and corporate culture, to reflect the problems in creating campus culture of secondary vaocational school so as to form a new mode of connecting campus culture of secondary vocational school and corporate culture. The new mode includes 1. creating a work-study campus culture combining work and learning, 2. creating a campus culture of intergrating school and factory and combining production and teaching. The seamless connection of campus culture of secondary vocational school and corporate culture plays a significant role in reaching the goal of fostering competent persons in secondary vocational education: it promotes the growth of secondary vocational school students as competent people, contributes to their growth as persons, facilitates their employment and helps them to set up their own business. However, interaction between campus and corporate cultures is not only cooperation between schools and enterprises, or combination of teaching and practice of production, but also a coorperation activity of science and technology and economy, in which case there should be corresponding policies, laws and regualtions to adjust, regulate and incite this activity and there should be necessary financial support. Therefore, further research should be done to solve the pressing issues like formulating corresponding laws and regualations, and getting attention and support from the government.
